Account deletion

Delete your Slovnyx account

Slovnyx is operated by Antonenko Denys Serhiiovych. This page explains how Slovnyx users can delete their app account and request deletion of associated personal data.

Delete your account in the app

If you can access the Slovnyx app, open Settings > Profile settings > Delete account. The app will guide you through confirming account deletion.

Request deletion outside the app

If you cannot access the app, email admin@slovnyx.com from the email address connected to your Slovnyx account. Use the subject line Delete my Slovnyx account and include the email address for the account you want deleted. We may ask for additional verification before processing the request.

What data is deleted

When your Slovnyx account is deleted, we delete or de-identify personal data associated with that account, including:

  • Account identifiers and profile information.
  • Profile picture and uploaded image metadata.
  • Authentication sessions and push notification tokens.
  • Language profile, survey answers, learning progress, quiz history, scores, and word status data.
  • Collections, saved words, imported text, topic imports, uploaded photos, and account-linked app activity.

Timing

We normally complete account and associated personal data deletion within 30 days after receiving and verifying your request.

Data that may be retained

Some information may be retained where necessary or outside Slovnyx control:

  • Limited records that Slovnyx must keep for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute, tax, or billing reasons.
  • Anonymous aggregate data that is not linked to your account, such as overall word-signal counts.
  • Subscription, purchase, or billing records controlled by Google Play, Apple, or another store or payment provider.
  • Data stored locally on your device or in device backups until removed by the operating system, app storage cleanup, or uninstalling the app.

Deleting your Slovnyx account does not automatically cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. Manage or cancel store subscriptions through the store where you purchased them.
